The special "End of 2003 Season" events scheduled aboard the ERIE CANAL BOAT this month include:

October 8th Little Falls Rotary Club Cruise

October 9th Erie Canalway National Heritage Corridor Commission tour from Little Falls to Canajoharie

October 10th Special excursion from Canajoharie (Lock 14) to Little Falls, 3:00 pm - 6:30 pm

October 11th Canal Place Octoberfest celebration; 45 minutes Erie Canal Fall Foliage rides Saturday afternoon

October 12th Canal Society of New York State special excursion from Little Falls to Utica, 9:00 am - 12:30 pm

October 12-14 Public Fall Foliage cruises from Kitty's on the Canal, Utica (afternoon trips)

October 13th Genesis Club Charter, Utica, 4:30 pm

October 14th Erie Canal School Boat Foundation Cruise, Utica, 5:00 pm

October 15th Special Fall Foliage cruise from Utica to Little Falls, with stops at Ilion and Herkimer, 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

October 16th Special Fall Foliage Excursion from Little Falls to Amsterdam, 10 am - 5:00 pm

October 17th Special Excursion from Amsterdam to Crescent, 10 am - 4:00 pm

October 18-19 Mohawk River/Erie Canal rides from Albany Marine Service, Crescent, above Lock 6 of the Waterford Flight

Additional private charters are available aboard the ERIE CANAL BOAT this fall, with additional dates and locations available. The cost is $250 for a one and one half hour charter with up to 42 people, and $100 for additional hours. The ERIE CANAL BOAT is a project of the State Council on Waterways. SCOW is a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation, and support from foundations, corporations and individuals are necessary to conduct our statewide promotion and education programs. All contributions are gratefully appreciated and are deductible to the extent allowed by law.
